Sonos began in 2002 with the vision to reinvent home audio for the digital age, by filling every home with music and make listening a valued experience again. Sonos has since dominated the whole-home networked audio space, being the pioneer in this market segment.
Since 2003, Y Studios has collaborated with Sonos to help shape the brand from day one. Beginning with its first product CONNECT:AMP, we created a fresh design language for the family of products. The elegant functionality of the language provides a consistent user experience and cohesive brand image. CMF applications are inspired by contemporary home environments, and our in depth insights on cultural influencers that drive consumer passions, aspirational needs and aesthetic expressions.
Sonos' product line includes Internet-connected speakers and hubs that are capable of playing music from more than 60 Internet services, including Spotify, Apple's Beats Music and Pandora. At the core is the Sonos Wireless HiFi System, which allows streaming of all kinds of music wirelessly in every room of the home. This can be controlled by Android smartphone, iPhone, or iPad.
